Lords of the TWP

Something new in TWP!!
They made a new concrete pathway and skateboarders found it immediately. So now here is also so called mini skate-park.
When concrete was enough dry, local 'young lions' started to skate there immediately. They are just shredding by wakeboards, chilling and skateboarding all day long. (What a lifestyle!!)))
These young guys bring to my mind Lords of the Dogtown movie and Stacy Peralta, Tony Alva and Jay Adams... Watch the movie if you haven't seen it. It's some part of history of boarding.

Merry Christmas!!

We didn't get white Christmas in Thailand... but something like a Christmas maybe... for sure not traditional Finnish Xmas.

Santa had double shift...

Late in the evening cable park could bring to your mind the winter, frozen lakes or ice-skating area...

Even at Christmas some people are working and some are resting...

My new 2014 toolings

Already long time I wanted little bit longer board.
Santa Claus came little bit earlier this year to Thailand and I have a chance to test before gift wrapping!!
The first impression is that really good board, little bit softer what I was thinking. Landings feel really good by this board.
On sliders really good, slides well and nice flex in the nose and tail for massive presses.
The first air trick was little bit surprising with soft release, this board really must to cut deep before release, but when I knew it, the following air tricks were okay, ... and landings are so nice.
Really thin and light board! ...only thing what I scare: How durable it is? Well let's see I have 2,5 weeks time to test it in TWP field laboratory.))

Spanking in China!

I’m in China and living in quite nice hotel.

Soon I’m going to Bangkok (for wakeboarding), I want to keep myself in shape and ready for riding so I went to gym.

I felt little bit sore in my back and because there is also Spa, I asked back massage after gym. Price was nice 30 minutes about 6 euros and I was thinking something relax able.

When massage started lady said: “Very very bad.” ...only English words during session!

She showed me from catalog, what I would need and off course I’m in China there wasn't any English words!)) Some nice and beautiful Chinese characters only...

Prices were a couple of euros, so I was thinking what to scare, why not.

So forget relax able massage!

Check the picture and I want to highlight that I wasn't in any kind of Lady Domino spanking session!!))

After massage I found from other catalog (some words in English) that she made me cupping and sculpting!))

I can tell that especially this sculpting was so painful that I had to stop her a few times...

Treatments should continue tomorrow, after tomorrow and after after tomorrow… should I continue??? )))

Snow follows me!

Winter and snow has come finally! ...to many places))
I have strange feeling that snow follows me!
I'm traveling a lot, but snow appears where ever I am... sorry for bad quality mobile phone pics only.((
Here are 3 places around the globe and I was there when the first snow fell:

2 weeks ago in Bulgaria near of Sofia!

1½ week ago in Russia Saint-Petersburg!!
...maybe there were some light snowing earlier,
but this was strong, this is after 30 minutes parking.

After Saint Petersburg I left to Asia, but probably not south enough!

Just now in Shandong Province China!!!

After 1½ week next stop will be in Thailand! If snow still follows me I start to worry... actually why??... white Christmas in Thailand would be awesome!!!

I made the edit and small video clip of my riding in Thai Wake Park during October and beginning of November 2013.
It was full 12 days riding without days off! TWP wasn't so crowded and I'm really happy that I got a chance to land a couple of new tricks into video. There are "Switch toe side front side 720" and "Moby Dick".
Moby Dick is my first inverted handle pass trick, this 720 I had done earlier, but never got it into video))!!

Temple and Gods of Thailand

I just returned from Bangkok, I was riding every day, but thanks to some Finnish friends, who were visiting in TWP, I went also to check some culture as well... at least once.))
I know, I'm boring guy, I could just spend all the time in the wake park... well mostly I've seen everything around already.

Main thing! About 10-15 meters high Buddha!

Quite near of TWP is temple, what is quite interesting to check out. It's also so near that you can go by moped during lunch break. You need for this visit about 1 hour.))

If I understood everything right there were Hindu and Buddhist Gods and game-characters in perfect harmony with each other.

Angry Birds front of Hindu temple! I was just thinking where is slingshot...

There is small kiosk in the area, where you can buy some offerings to the Gods. Front of the Gods were many drinks etc... I almost bought and sacrificed energy drinks for them!

I think it was possible to buy a God with you if necessary!

Thaiwakepark, night-ride and some my new tooling...

Finally I got here again! I was riding in TWP last time in mid-January.

Everything is as before, but some small things have changed:

1. Prices are 10% increased, but are still cheap. (my opinion)
2. TWP has night-ride, what is amazing idea to prolong riding days!

I arrived to TWP and my new Raph-boots 2014 were waiting me. I just broke my earlier boots about one month ago in Extreme Fantasy... as I tend to break everything.))

Liquid Force Raph 2014!! Must to say really nice boots, quite stiff in the beginning... just as I like. Simple looking, maybe even rugged... just as I like.))

Riding was great even that I had one month break and I felt little bit as flexible as Pinocchio.))

Anyway I didn't want to ride my all power during first day, so I skip night riding..... but I got some nice pictures!

Ooh it's night here and new riding day is already too near...

Sun Park season closing

Season in St. Petersburg closed at least in my case. How did it go so fast??
Well season continues... it's time to move places where weather doesn't limit riding... or turn to snowboarding... to my original boarding!

Extreme Fantasy 2013

Extreme Fantasy 19-21.9.2013 in St. Petersburg Russia.

My contest went well still in qualifications, I got straight to finals... well in finals "All or Nothing" gave this time nothing. I fell both my runs! It doesn't matter, I was glad that I rode in my level in qualifications and someday it will work also in finals.))
Well...Season almost closed!

Open men and open women categories was possible to see amazing riding!
We got some visitors from Germany, Holland, Austria, Hungary, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus...
At the moment the world best woman rider Julia Rick joined too, I will publish soon small interview.

I got some nice pictures with autumns colors! It was already cold, but beautiful...
