Extreme festival in Saint Petersburg

Extreme festival conquered the Palace Square of SPb on Saturday 28th of June.
There were featured some extreme and street culture genres.
I focused to skateboarding, freestyle motocross, graffiti artists and break-dancers.
Maybe it was good for sponsors of happening, there were lot of people, ...but too many people (my point of view) to view well everything.....
It was quite hot and sunny day, what is nowadays very strange in SPb.)))
Skateboarding:
There were built quite a nice park for skateboarders including fun-boxes, ramps, launch-box, pyramid etc...

Freestyle motocross:

They made normal back-flips etc... but this was amazing!!

Palace Square background probably inspired artists

Break dancers:
Dancers and music were so good that I couldn't focus on photo shooting. They were amazing!!!

Lords of the TWP

Something new in TWP!!
They made a new concrete pathway and skateboarders found it immediately. So now here is also so called mini skate-park.
When concrete was enough dry, local 'young lions' started to skate there immediately. They are just shredding by wakeboards, chilling and skateboarding all day long. (What a lifestyle!!)))
These young guys bring to my mind Lords of the Dogtown movie and Stacy Peralta, Tony Alva and Jay Adams... Watch the movie if you haven't seen it. It's some part of history of boarding.

Calendar May 2012

Every month I'll publish new page for 2012 calendar. Save it, print it and tape to your wall! ;-)))))
It was the last day of April and so nice weather!
I went to ride by my new longboard to 300 Years Park in St Petersburg. Board was rolling so well and no sand or granules on the surface.
Anyway I had to get up to wide stony handrail and ride top of it.)))

New "Zenith" stadium in backround... or carcass of it.

Unfortunately I have not photos from jump and landing of this drop.))))
